Identifying Danger Zone and Treatment Areas
Before carrying out the procedure, it is important to identify areas that should not be treated and danger zones.
The jowl compartment should not be treated with dermal fillers as this would exacerbate the appearance of jowls.
We must also be aware of the position of the facial artery and the parotid gland.
These areas are marked in red in the diagram below.
